SUBIC AUTO CLUB

OBJECTIVE: *To have an open communication by sharing views, ideas and resources possible for enhancement or modification and preservation of the life of our treasured vehicle.
*Observe the established C.O.R.E. of the Club.
MISSION STATEMENT: To promote interest in safety motoring for the benefit of not just the Members of the Club but for the entire Motorist and the General Public; and to participate in a Civic Outreach Program whatever the Club can offer.
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION: Membership is open to anyone who is of legal age and agrees to the SAC Objective and Mission Statement. It is a must to have a vehicle of any variety (No specific brands, class or model) since this is an auto club.
MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES:
1. An aspiring member should attend first a scheduled Club meeting and fill-up personally the required membership form subject to verification by the designated Club Officers.
2. Upon submission and acceptance of the Membership Form by the Officers, the aspirant member is obliged to attend two (2) more consecutive club meetings before he/she can be an official member of the Club. If the aspirant member cannot attend to the said consecutive club meetings after registering, he/she should start again from the beginning until the aspirant member completed the three (3) consecutive club meetings.
3. All members are encouraged to attend the scheduled Club meetings; however, members who cannot attend should inform a Club Member or Officer earlier than the scheduled meeting. Member without prior notice of his absence before the club meeting shall be considered for as long as the absent Member has a valid reason on his absence subject to the consensus decision of the Officers and the present Members during the meeting. There shall be a penalty of Php50.00 for unreasonable absence of a Member. Five (5) consecutive absences including the valid absences shall consider being an inactive Member. An Inactive Member can be considered Active if he/she can attend five (5) consecutive Club Meetings again.
4. Any given information on the Membership Form by the aspirant member should be true and correct. If ever, any of the Officers found irregularities, fictitious and/or false on the given information, shall be potential grounds for disapproval of membership or possible termination upon deliberation by the Officers.
FUNDING:
SAC-CORE was established by a group of professional individuals who have a vision of a good, pro-active, friendly and helping club that can contribute to safety motoring of the general public and participate in a civic outreach program not just in the Freeport but within its neighboring area. Since, the club is at the stage of infancy, it has no funds at all. However, the designated Officer’s and initial Members have agreed thru a majority decision that a Registration Fee of Php150.00/member shall be collected, should acquire an Official SAC Shirt and Official Car Decal. Moreover, there will be a monthly contribution of Php100/month from each members of the club. Furthermore, voluntary contributions/donations are very much welcome. The voluntary contributions are solely the personal discretion of the member and the amount of contribution shall in no-way dictate the hierarchy status of the member.
Any collection shall be used as a revolving fund intended for general assembly meetings, benefit projects and other purposes mutually agreed by the Officers and voted upon by the members.
Activity or event-specific contributions (if necessary) will only be made provided that there is a definitive timeline for the activities/events such as but not limited to social gatherings (i.e. Anniversary party, Cook Outs, Fun Runs), and civic outreach programs.
Sponsorship and participation on any events/activities (i.e. Motorcade, Motor Events Assistance, Club Sticker and other items promotion, etc.) is also a valid means of funding. This shall be simultaneously explored with the Officers and Initial Members. Solicitations for sponsorship shall only be written to potential sponsors affixed with the signature of the designated Officers of the Club.

The above Officers were selected thru the majority votes of the Members. The designated Officers shall act as the decision maker and planner of the Club subject to the majority votes of the members if necessary. There is no sole decision for the club. The Officers shall convene whenever necessary. Any Member can participate on the Club Officers meeting via request.
Any designated Officers who conducts him/herself contrary to SAC`s C.O.R.E. Objective and Mission Statement can be voted for removal from the Management Team by the other Officers. If any removal occurs, the next in line Officer and/or most senior Member shall have the option to be an Officer.
In order to effectively organize activities or events, the Directors with its selected Members who can exhibit a talent or skill in a particular task or field relative to the conception of the activity shall enforce. Any of the tasked Directors shall serve as a spokesperson for the Members participated and shall relay the progress of the activity as needed.
On all cases, open communication is very much encouraged as stated on the Club’s Objective.
